Growing a thicker beard can be a challenge for many men for a variety of reasons. I can attest to that hardship when I started growing one. While some are blessed with thicker and fuller facial hair, mine looks thin and somewhat patchy in comparison. It took me a year to see improvement and it’s still a work in progress. There is more to growing a beard than simply throwing away your razor as it takes time, dedication and extraordinary ability to resist the urge to scratch.
I want to give you some simple tips that I find helpful to make your beard grow thicker and fuller.
Start exercising to improve the quality of your beard on a regular basis. Exercise increases blood circulation and testosterone which promotes healthy follicles and provides all the nutrients the hair needs to grow thicker and stronger.
Taking a supplement helps in improving hair health and stimulating beard growth. Vitamin supplements such copper, zinc, magnesium, vitamin B, vitamin D, iron and vitamin E play essential roles in growing thicker hair. Biotin supplement is also known to help beard grow faster.
Aside from taking supplements, a healthy diet ensures that you’ll get the right amount of vitamins and nutrients that your body needs. The health of your body reflects the overall health of your beard. Eating protein-rich food such as lean meat, fish, eggs, poultry, nuts, and beans will help facial hair grow quicker and make it look healthier.
Staying hydrated every day is another thing that you should be doing. Water flushes out toxins from the body and keeps skin hydrated from within. Your beard and body will thank you for it.
Stressing about everything in your life has a negative impact on testosterone development which compromises hair growth. Lower your stress by starting with meditation and you will be amazed how much your facial hair growth improved.
Getting enough sleep helps the body to regenerate testosterone. Your overall health and well-being depend on getting enough sleep, so you should try your best to get 7-8 hours of good quality sleep each night to minimize your stress levels as much as possible.
