Having a luscious, full beard is more than just being fashionable. It is also an achievement and celebration of manhood. However, maintaining and caring for our facial hair needs proper attention. Beards are not created equal and sometimes you can see some patchy area on your face. I personally don’t like seeing my face with a patchy beard that’s why I am always quick to look for an “easy-to-do-it” solution online on how to fix patchy beard. In this article, I will share how to fix a patchy beard.
Fixing a patchy beard
First, let your facial hair grow until it covers the patchy area. Stay away from the razor and the shaving cream for a while until the patchiness has been completely covered with your facial hair. However, make sure to shave and trim around your cheek and jawline for four weeks or more. Don’t forget to brush it feverishly while the facial hair is still growing.
Taking care of your beard is also important aside from letting it grow. Use some beard grooming products that can help increase the hair growth and make it look fuller too. You can use the beard oil to prevent irritation and itchiness. The benefit of using beard oil is that it can reach the skin beneath the beard and moisturizes it. Beard oil also promotes the hair growth and the new hair will be thicker and fuller. Applying a balm regularly can also give more volume and makes the beard looks thicker.
Brushing and combing your beard on a regular basis can cover the patchy area not to mention it can make your face look neat and clean.
Growing and maintaining a beard needs a lot of patience especially if you have to worry about the patchy area, but if you are someone who feels more confident and handsome with a facial hair on, then I am sure you won’t mind doing the tips I’ve mentioned.
